How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Open App Settings and select Restore Purchases. Use the Apple account of the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple processes payments and refunds subject to its policies and applicable law.

Why isn’t the meter measuring?

Enable microphone permission in iOS Settings. Audio is analyzed on your device.

Can I use readings for safety decisions?

Readings are informational estimates affected by hardware, calibration, placement, and surroundings. They do not replace certified equipment or professional advice.

Your audio stays on your device. Here is how we handle information.

01. Who we are

This policy describes how DIGITAL FL TORIQUL LLC handles information in Decibel Meter - DB Meter and this website.

02. Microphone permission and audio

The App requests microphone permission to estimate environmental sound levels. Audio is analyzed on your device. No audio recording is saved or uploaded by the App. You may deny or revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings; measurement features require it.

03. Session measurements

Saved sessions contain sound measurements and timing, duration, weighting, minimum, average or peak values. These are stored locally rather than uploaded to us. Local information remains until removed through available App controls or deletion of the App. Device backups are governed by your device and Apple settings.

04. Advertising and tracking

The App does not display advertisements. We do not use advertising tracking or sell your personal information. Apple independently processes App Store, device and purchase information under its policies.

05. Subscriptions and purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive full payment card details. Apple provides purchase and entitlement information needed to make purchased features available and restore eligible purchases.

06. Support communications

If you contact us by email or phone, we receive contact information and details you choose to provide. We use them to respond, resolve requests and maintain necessary support records. Avoid sending sensitive information or audio recordings unless needed. We retain communications only as reasonably needed for support and applicable legal obligations.

07. Website hosting

Hosting and network providers may process IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and secure this website. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies ourselves. Google Blogger hosts this website and may process visitor information or use cookies to operate, secure and deliver its services. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; your browser contacts Google for those resources.

08. Sharing and security

We do not upload App audio or local measurements to our servers. Support or website information may be processed by necessary service providers or disclosed when required by law. We use reasonable safeguards; no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

09. Your choices and rights

Control microphone permission and local data through the App and iOS settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information we hold, or object to processing. Email us to exercise applicable rights. We cannot retrieve or delete measurements stored only on your device.

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the App or our practices change. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.

Clear terms for using Decibel Meter - DB Meter and its Pro subscription.

01. Acceptance and provider

These terms apply to the App and website provided by DIGITAL FL TORIQUL LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, discontinue use. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

02. App license

The App is licensed, not sold. Use is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate applicable license is provided in App Store Connect. These terms supplement that license.

03. Measurements and intended use

The App estimates environmental sound levels using your device microphone. Results vary with hardware, calibration, placement and conditions. It is for informational and educational use. It is not a certified meter, medical device or substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it alone for workplace compliance, hearing protection decisions, emergencies or safety-critical measurements. Hearing wellness information is educational, not medical advice.

04. Subscriptions and billing

Certain Pro features require a subscription. Price, billing period and trial or offer terms appear before purchase confirmation. Payment is charged through your Apple account. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled before Apple’s renewal deadline. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. An offered trial converts to a paid subscription under the displayed terms unless canceled in time.

05. Managing, restoring and refunding purchases

Manage or cancel through your Apple account or Apple’s subscription settings. Removing the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation stops future renewal; access ordinarily continues through the paid period. Use Restore Purchases in the App to restore eligible purchases. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to its policies and applicable law.

06. Responsible use

Use the App and website lawfully. Do not interfere with operation, misuse support, infringe intellectual property or attempt unauthorized access. Avoid use that distracts from safe driving or activities requiring attention.

07. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for protecting your device and local session information.

08. Intellectual property

The App, website, branding and original content belong to DIGITAL FL TORIQUL LLC or respective licensors. No ownership transfers to you. Apple and App Store are Apple Inc. trademarks; Apple does not sponsor this website.

09. Availability and changes

We may update features, fix issues or discontinue functionality. Uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device is not guaranteed. Changes to paid services remain subject to applicable law and purchase terms.

10. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App and website are provided as available without a guarantee of exact measurements or uninterrupted service. To that extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits non-waivable consumer rights.

11. Applicable law and updates

Wyoming, United States law governs, except mandatory laws in your residence apply. Revisions will show an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
